3月10日，Redmi紅米手機官微發布，將于3月17日召開K50旗艦系列新品發布會。此次新品官方給出了“狠超想象”的定位，明確將在性能、屏幕、影像、充電、續航等多方面提升體驗。 

RedmiK40曾被譽爲2021年度“旗艦焊門員”，口碑強勢，熱賣一整年。官方曾對外表示，K40系列累積銷量突破1000萬台，占據2000-3000元價位段線上份額的第一。這也強烈拉升了K50旗艦新品的期待值和關注度。 

一個月以前，RedmiK50系列新品中， K50電競版和K50冠軍版已經亮相，憑借極具辨識度的外觀設計和極佳的遊戲體驗，一經發布便預定火爆。其中Redmi K50電競版開賣僅一分鍾，便實現全渠道2.8億銷售額的盛況。 

小米手機雙品牌策略的打法越來越清晰。堅守基本盤的Redmi品牌，不斷突破極致性能，持續發力細分品類，拓展用戶。同時Redmi還在努力提升品牌調性，不斷向上探索增量市場，與定位高端的Xiaomi品牌縫合嚴密。小米手機護城河愈加穩固。
