Microsoft 近日發布 Windows 11 22H2 22616 Insider Preview 測試版本，外國傳媒 Windows Latest 發現，Microsoft 在該測試版本內，要求所有 Windows 11 Home 及 Windows 11 Pro 版的用戶，在安裝時必須登入 Microsoft 賬戶，未能像以往使用本地賬戶登入。
此措施料於今年下半年正式推出的 Windows 11 22H2 更新版本實行，不過，Windows Latest 提及，目前用戶仍可透過小技巧跳過 Microsoft 賬戶登入頁，方法是輸入一個不存在的 Microsoft 賬戶，系統便會要求用戶建立本地賬戶，但估計此方法將被封鎖。
事實上，目前不少作業系統也要求登入網上賬戶，包括 iOS、iPadOS、macOS 也需 Apple ID 登入，而 Android 的許多功能也要配合 Google Account 使用。
